Here is an adorable ceramic vase with a beautiful flamed orange and frothy white glaze on a chocolate background. This glaze is typical of Vallauris ceramics from the 1960s, and it is very well executed; the colours, although bright, are not garish and complement each other wonderfully. Its shape is elegant, with lovely proportions, showcasing fine craftsmanship in both the turning and glazing. It comes from the FPP workshop, Faïences et Poteries de Provence (marked underneath), and can therefore be dated between 1950 and 1967, as this workshop was established in Vallauris in 1950 by Joseph Calvas-Blanchon and Jean Rossignol and closed in 1967. It is in perfect condition, with no cracks, chips, or even minor nicks. It measures 19.5 cm in height, 7 cm in maximum diameter, and 4 cm in diameter at the mouth.
