Ribbed porcelain bowls from Chauvigny, Fernand Deshoulières

Here is a set of 5 adorable small ribbed porcelain bowls decorated with a gilded rim and a fine golden frieze. They are stamped "luxury porcelain, FD, France", which refers to the porcelain factory established by Fernand Deshoulières in Chauvigny in 1906, succeeding the family pottery in Chauvigny that had been in existence since 1826. Based on the design of the stamp, it seems these bowls date from between 1906 and 1938 when Ferdinand Deshoulières was in charge of the company. If this is the case, they are in very good condition! No cracks, no stains, smooth and white surfaces without scratches; they appear to have been used very little, if at all, and the golden friezes show no signs of wear. The only defects to note are a small chip on the rim of one of the bowls and slight abrasions or missing glaze on the upper rims of the bowls, possibly original. They measure 9 cm in diameter and 5 cm in height.
