Antique Bevelled Oval Mirror Wood Frame & Bronze Decorations Louis XVI Style

Elegant antique oval mirror, surrounded by a beautiful moulded wooden frame. The frame features deep concentric fluting and is adorned with several gilded bronze ornaments with crossed foliage motifs. The glass is bevelled around the edges, with a wide bevel that is particularly decorative. The mirror shows signs of its age: there are noticeable pitting, stains, and alterations to the silvering, as well as some marks and scratches. A lovely decorative piece, ideal above a chest of drawers, a console, or a fireplace, in a classic, antique, or eclectic interior.
