Bronze guided lamp by Auguste Delafontaine - late 19th century

Art nouveau gold bronze table lamp, signed under the base of the initials of the ad founder for auguste maximilien delafontaine (1813-1892) and numbered 6890. The electricity has been refurbished to current standards but keeping the original bayonet bulb socket. Originally decorated with a glass paste tulip, it was replaced by a conical lampshade in pale pink glass. Very slight traces of time on the shade (see photo). Mounted on a kneecap to orient the light beam as you please. Dimensions: height 38cm.
