Vintage Danish Brutalist ladderback chairs in oak by Henning Kjærnulf, 1960s, set of 4

This set of four carved light oak ladder-back chairs, known as the 'Razorblade' model, was designed by Henning Kjærnulf. Crafted with solid oak frames, these chairs are both elegant and sturdy, blending a bold, sculptural look with functionality. The high backs and beautifully carved curves give them a distinctive presence, drawing from both Brutalist and Baroque styles, which are common in Kjærnulf's designs. The fabric upholstery is in good working condition and the chairs are ready to use as they are. The chairs have been cleaned and washed, and the surface of the wood is in good condition. There is also a version in stock with a darker, oiled finish.
