Vintage yellow desk lamp with flexible gooseneck - 1970s

Bring a superb bright, pop, and retro touch to your workspace or interior with this authentic 1970s desk lamp. It stands out with its typical Space Age look featuring a vibrant and shiny sunflower yellow/mustard colour. Its long, flexible gooseneck arm is fully articulated under a matching yellow sheath, allowing you to easily direct the light according to your needs. The dome-shaped lampshade has small circular perforations at the back to dissipate heat and diffuse a lovely soft light. The round, well-weighted base is connected to its white power cord equipped with an independent toggle switch. An ideal light fixture to enliven contemporary decor or complement a vintage atmosphere. • Condition: Generally in beautiful vintage condition and fully functional (tested with a bulb, see photos). The original wiring is sound, and the in-line switch works perfectly. Please note that the push button on the base is fixed/fake and has been short-circuited in favour of the in-line switch. There are a few light surface marks, micro-scratches, and small paint losses on the plastic or metal, all quite normal for its age and attest to its authenticity. • Bulb: Works with a standard screw bulb (large or small base depending on the socket, supplied without a bulb).
