Mid-century Modern Farmer chair by Gerd Lange for Bofinger, 1960s.

A classic of the design from the "Bofinger Farmer" series based on drawings by Gerd Lange from the 1960s. This modular furniture is less known and less ubiquitous than the Safari chairs. The Bofinger chairs in this series consist of a complex system of individual wooden elements that fit together. They can be completely disassembled into very small and manageable parts. The elements are made of ash and, in this version, are dark-stained. The seats are made of thick canvas, stretched over the frame and laced from underneath.
