Large postmodern "Black Swan" mirror, 1970s-1980s, 110 × 114 cm. Incredible vintage "Black Swan" mirror, named for its sculptural black swan frame. Dating from the 1970s-1980s, it features a beautiful frame made of glossy black moulded plastic, with fluid and asymmetrical lines, delicately highlighted with golden fillets. During this period, mirrors inspired by Art Nouveau were created with a postmodern aesthetic from the late 1970s and early 1980s, similar to the Memphis Milano movement in Italy. The designer and manufacturer of this model remain unidentified to this day. Another example of the same model, with practically identical dimensions, has been documented in the United States as a postmodern vanity mirror from the 1970s-1980s. Materials and finish: mirror, glossy black moulded plastic, golden fillets, original backing panel. Dimensions: 110 cm height × 114 cm width.
