Beautiful Art Deco model designed by Luc Lanel for Christofle in 1939. 16 pieces for 8 people in silver-plated metal including: 8 fish forks, 19 cm, 8 fish knives, 21 cm. Excellent condition, few visible signs of use and well-polished cutlery. Alfénide hallmark in full on all cutlery, "OC" hallmark with a horse's head for "Orfèvrerie Christofle". Alfénide is a silver-plated metal manufacturer, created by Charles Halphen and acquired by Christofle at the end of the 19th century. In the 20th century, Christofle used this brand to produce certain models that duplicated others in its range. Total weight: 950 g.
