Vintage Scandinavian 1960s retro day bed

Beautiful vintage Norwegian daybed/couch in teak from the 1960s, featuring clean modern Scandinavian lines, tapered legs, an integrated side table, and a hidden storage compartment beneath the seat. This piece retains its original mustard tartan upholstery and matching back cushions, giving it an increasingly rare authentic 1950s look. The warm teak frame beautifully complements the golden wool fabric and serves as a striking centrepiece for a living room, studio, reading nook, or chalet interior. The seat lifts to reveal internal storage, and the attached teak side platform works perfectly as a side table for books, coffee, or decor. Condition: Good vintage condition with wear appropriate to age. The teak frame presents beautifully overall with slight surface wear and light marks consistent with age.
