Design. Original Bauhaus desk attributed to Erich Dieckmann, Germany, circa 1923–1925. Clean, geometric lines with a rounded front profile characteristic of early modernist design. Materials. Rosewood / palisander veneer with a high-gloss piano lacquer top surface. Bright maple interior, polished stainless-steel trims and nickel-plated metal fittings. Two original sliding glass doors on the rear for book compartments. Features. Asymmetric storage: column of drawers on one side and a single-door cabinet on the other, with a central knee space. Recessed plinth base following the curved front, small round metal recessed knobs and subtle metal trim highlight. Dimensions. H 79 cm × W 161 cm × D 80 cm (height × width × depth). Shipping.
