Tage ragnar lindquist (born september 30, 1906 in stockholm, died may 15, 1986 in stockholm) - swedish painter and director. He was the son of the merchant fritz john thorvald lindquist and hilma augusta elisabeth holmgren, from 1936 married to gertrud linnéa wråke. Lindquist studied art with märt af ekenstam in 1924-1925 and at the skåne school of painting in malmö in 1928-1932, as well as on study trips to denmark, germany and england. He exhibited with arne aspelin in malmö in 1937 and with eve eriksson at gummesons konsthall in 1943 and with his wife at the sds hall in malmö in 1943. He belonged to the art group blanda and participated in all the group's exhibitions as well as in group exhibitions organized by skånes konstförening. He was represented at the exhibition swedish watercolors 1925-1947 at the royal swedish academy of fine arts in 1947 and at several liljevalch spring salons. His work consists of urban motifs, cafe interiors and landscapes. Lindquist is represented in the malmö museum.
