Solid pine stool

Rustic stool in solid wood, made in the 1950s-70s, in the style of Charlotte Perriand. Its seat formed of two thick planks screwed together, resting on a slightly inclined trapezoidal base, illustrates the functional simplicity and raw aesthetic dear to the designer. A small authentic piece of furniture, at the crossroads of mountain craftsmanship and alpine modernism, ideal as an occasional seat, sofa end or bedside table.
