Pedestal table with a Napoleon III era system in burr walnut

A refined folding pedestal table in the Napoleon III style, dating from the mid-19th century. The oval top is crafted from burr walnut marquetry with decorative stringing inlaid in light wood, highlighting the rich grain and the exquisite craftsmanship. The central base consists of four turned columns resting on a carved tripod base, adorned with foliate motifs and scrolls. The entire piece rests on its original casters, allowing for easy mobility. The functional tilting top mechanism, typical of salon furniture of this period, facilitates storage or wall display as a console table. Condition: very good overall condition for its age. Original patina preserved, some signs of wear on the top and base, with no structural damage (see photos).
