Napoleon III era pedestal table in burr walnut

Refined folding pedestal table in the Napoleon III style, dating from the mid-19th century. The oval-shaped top is made of burr walnut marquetry with decorative fillets inlaid in light wood, highlighting the richness of the grain and the finesse of the cabinetmaking. The central base is composed of four turned columns resting on a carved tripod base, decorated with foliage and scrollwork. The whole rests on original casters, allowing great mobility. Functional tilting top system, typical of living room furniture of this period, facilitating storage or wall display as a console. Condition: very good overall condition for its age. Original patina preserved, some signs of use on the top and base, without structural alteration (see photos).
