Victorian Marquetry Round Side Table, 1870s

This beautiful and exceptional Victorian gilded side table was made circa 1870 in Germany. The piece is in its original condition and has a wonderful patina. The marquetry is in burr walnut and different fruit woods. The round straw inlay shows a parrot. The round base is turned and can be unscrewed from the top.
