Office chair in wicker – Louis XV style – Walnut – 19th century

Office chair known as "en corbeille", Louis XV style, 19th century, walnut structure with a honey-brown patina. Curved cabriole legs, belt sculpted with a central shell motif surrounded by leafy scrolls at the corners. Barrel-shaped enveloping backrest, upholstered on both sides with a beige fabric featuring a geometric diamond pattern. Trim highlighted by a row of decorative metal nails in a grey-anthracite patina along all the lines of the seat. The wood retains an old patina consistent with a piece from the 19th century. The upholstery and nails have undergone recent restoration, while the wood remains original. Dimensions: H. 85 cm – W. 50 cm – Weight: 15 kg.
