Antique mirror in Louis XV style from the Napoleonic III era with a pediment dating from the mid-19th century. Frame with twisted and beaded mouldings, fully gilded with original gold leaf. The pediment features a stylised shell topped with a small bouquet of finely carved acanthus leaves. On either side, the decoration unfolds in elegant and openwork scrolls, creating a dynamic movement typical of the Rococo style. The glass is in very good condition. Original complete backing. Height: 179 cm. Width: 116 cm. (large dimensions).
