Pair of low chairs DS-76/107 De Sede - sofa bed

Two armchairs by de sede, switzerland 1970s. The particularity of this sofa is that it can be transformed into a sofa bed, ideal for inviting friends. What was particularly impressive was a surprisingly simple and ingenious mechanism: the sofa could be transformed into an extra bed in just a few simple steps - without mechanical support...the new edition of the popular classic sofa bed also adheres to this concept. But the furniture also scores points in terms of appearance. What attracts attention is the extravagant wrinkle formation, caused by the deliberately lower tension of the upholstery leather.
