Rosewood conference table by Osvaldo Borsani for Tecno 1968

Exceptional, probably unique piece. Conference table by the famous italian designer osvaldo borsani published by tecno in 1968 (labels on the feet). Special order for the board of directors of a large group in order to bring together its 24 members. The dimensions of this table are simply extraordinary with a so-called "barrel" shaped top (this allows everyone around the table to see each other) in rosewood 6m long by 1.88m wide in the center, 1.44m at the ends, at a height of 75cm. It is composed of 2 half-beveled tops 6cm thick secured together by 4 bolted lag screws, the whole resting on 3 splendid helix feet 1.2m in diameter (3 branches for the 2 exteriors, 4 for the central foot) in brushed stainless steel with adjustable pads. In superb condition, we will note just a few fine scratches and small areas of wear of the varnish (see photos), without affecting the general aesthetics. This is a table of exceptional beauty (difficult to highlight in photos without setting) which is offered to you for sale. It will be ideal for meetings with your colleagues and why not as a dining table in a reception room. Not to be missed, you will not find such a piece.
