Pierre Paulin's CM190 chair for Thonet circa 1959. Completely refurbished. Lined by a professional with ecru loop fabric from the lelièvre editor (anti-tasking treatment). Metal structure repainted in matte black epoxy paint. Bultex foam cushions. New tips on the ends of the structure. Elegant and very comfortable. From 1953 to 1967, Pierre Paulin worked for Thonet. He sees this period as one of his learning. We already detect in this heater its originality that announces its great talent. Bibliography: Patrick Favardin, The decorators of the 50s, Norma, Paris, 2002. The heater is also on the cover of Selency's book "There's No Age for Vintage."
