"Java" table lamp by Mathieu Matégot, circa 1950. Pleated and openwork metal, welded onto a thin metal structure with brass feet. Flat, openwork shade that also pivots on its offset axis. Beautiful and unusual play of light. A completely vintage piece, original paint. Some traces of rust, but these do not detract from the beauty and rarity of the object. Functional wiring.
