Vintage side table in green resin and gilded cast iron - boudoir spirit

Charming vintage side table, featuring a circular top made of green resin resembling marble or onyx, resting on three curved legs in painted gold cast iron, all stamped MAR POLY. The top has a very nice appearance, shiny and perfectly smooth. There are only two or three barely noticeable micro-scratches on the surface, as well as a few discreet small dents on the lower edge, consistent with age and use. The cast iron legs show a natural patina with visible wear in places on the gilding, which gives the whole piece a lovely authenticity and a lot of charm. A more noticeable chip is present near one of the decorative elements in the shape of a love knot connecting the legs (detail visible in the close-up photograph).
