Three-seater Sapporo sofa by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi

This three-seater sofa from the Sapporo line, designed by Mario Marenco for Mobil Girgi in the 1970s, is a beautiful example of Italian design from that era. The design combines clean lines with soft, welcoming shapes. The angled front legs extend elegantly along the sides and back, while the slightly curved backrest offers comfortable seating. This version features the original lightweight and soft fabric with a subtle diagonal ribbed texture, giving the sofa a refined and timeless appearance. The walnut frame remains visible on the sides and underneath the seats, where the sofa is also marked, highlighting the craftsmanship of the design. The wood shows some signs of use and scratches. The fabric on the seat has stains, see photos.
