Numbered vase in Vallauris style, draped shape

Vase numbered 351. Signed "Alpho" (diminution of Alphonse Mouton) Alphonse Mouton was born in 1900 into a family of potters. He worked in Saint Vallier in the south-east of France from the 1930s to 1980. He used a series of recognizable varnishes in colors ranging from dark blue, green and beige. His first works recall the Art Deco period. The pieces are generally numbered and signed ALPHO. Vallauris style. Drape shape. Dark blue and brown tone on the collar.
