Mid-Century Space Age clamp table lamp Periscopio by Danilo & Corrado Aroldi for Stilnovo, 1960s

Rare table lamp by Stilnovo designed by Danilo & Corrado Aroldi in the 1960s. The lamp features a luminous body made of a simple tube, divided at the upper third and equipped with a joint covered by an elastic tubular element, allowing a 180-degree range of movement for the light head. The table clamp is a simple collar integrating the tightening screw. This design is intended for use with a half-mirrored hammer pot lamp. Presented here in a rare white colour with a pearlescent effect. The contrast between the black ribbed tube and the smooth white surface of the lamp body is striking.
