Diabolo desk lamp DLG Matégot in perforated sheet metal and brass, 1950s

1950s diabolo desk lamp, in the spirit of Mathieu Matégot's perforated sheet metal fixtures. Two dark green lacquered perforated sheet metal cones, bordered with a twist, meet in a brass ring that houses the switch. The brass gooseneck can be manually adjusted to direct the light onto the work surface or reflect it onto the wall. The entire piece rests on a small tripod base made of black lacquered metal. It uses a single bulb, and the perforated sheet metal allows light to filter through in small dots, creating a beautiful effect when lit. Everything is original. The electrical system has been updated, and it is ready to plug in. It will suit both a desk and a console or bedside table. Dimensions: Height 50 cm, Depth 30 cm, Width 15 cm. Ref LDP: 20261023-003.
