Antique French red velvet sofa from the 19th century

COD 6417. Antique French sofa from the second half of the 19th century. This Napoleon III-era furniture is made of finely carved and gilded wood in the Louis XVI style. The seat, backrest, and armrests are upholstered in red velvet with some minor marks, but are in overall good condition. This visually striking sofa rests on four carved and gilded wooden legs. The front legs are equipped with casters for easy movement around the home. The upholstery is in good condition and reasonably comfortable; the sofa is more suited to decorative use than functional use. Seat height: 35 cm. Structurally sound, it is in good condition.
