Set of 4 dining chairs by Schou Andersen

A set of four rare 'Valet' dining chairs designed by Schou Andersen and produced by his workshop in Vejen, Denmark, in the 1970s. The organically shaped backrest provides full support for the lower shoulders while leaving the spine free and unstrained. The chair is not only ergonomic but also appealing thanks to its curves and solid teak frame. There are a few darker signs of wear on the legs, otherwise in very good condition. The cushions have been renewed and reupholstered in a soft, high-quality bottle-green Belgian fabric.
