Old painting, Marine , signed 50/60s

Very beautiful marine, oil on canvas representing fishing boats returning to shore with in the background the tower of a castle that was probably to serve as a lighthouse to help fishermen find the entrance to the port in stormy or nighttime weather. The painting is signed at the bottom right c moriss, it has not undergone any restoration. It has its original varnish that has become a little dirty and yellowed over time. It will therefore deserve a little cleaning in order to regain all its bright colors. The frame is gilded wood and decorated with a pretty frieze. It has some minimal wear. It is possible to buy the painting without the frame which will allow it to be sent by colissimo because with it, given its size it will probably have to use the carrier of selency. The proportions of the painting are very beautiful, and it alone will allow to decorate your interior with charm. Size without frame h 54 cm l 81 cm. Size with frame h 69 cm l 95 cm.
