Velvet patinated chair

Here is a pretty old wooden chair renovated and redesigned by us. As the old seat was still in good condition (straps, springs and straw), we only changed the cover, replacing it with a brick-colored velvet fabric held together with upholstery nails. The wood was completely cleaned and stripped before white lead was applied to give it a more contemporary appearance, while still revealing the moldings and the magnificent wood underneath. The crvm workshop renovates and revamps all styles of wooden furniture, old and new, to give them a second life. The furniture sold is old and second-hand. Even if they have undergone a meticulous renovation and makeover in the workshop, they may nevertheless show signs of wear which have not been erased to preserve all their charm and history.
