Exceptional “FA-66” sideboard designed by Ib Kofod-Larsen and produced by Faarup Møbelfabrik in Denmark, circa 1960. Executed in richly figured rosewood, this high-end piece is a superb example of Danish modern craftsmanship and refined design. The façade is defined by a striking, perfectly book-matched rosewood grain, creating a beautifully symmetrical and almost sculptural visual effect across the front. The clean, minimalist lines are complemented by subtly integrated handles, maintaining a sleek and uninterrupted appearance. Behind the doors, the sideboard reveals a thoughtfully designed interior with multiple drawers, all crafted with the same attention to detail and quality. The fine joinery and smooth operation reflect the high standards of Faarup’s production. Raised on nicely shaped legs, the piece appears light and well-balanced despite its generous proportions, making it both functional and visually impressive. In very good original condition with minor wear consistent with age and use. The rosewood surfaces are beautifully preserved, showcasing a deep, warm patina and outstanding grain. Marked with original manufacturer’s labels inside a drawer and at the back.
