BIG Executive Design Desk by Guido Faleschini for i4 Mariani. Italy, 1970s.

A striking Italian BIG executive desk designed by Guido Faleschini for i4 Mariani, originally designed in 1976. The desk features a generous black work surface framed by distinctive polished chrome edging, with four cylindrical chrome legs and black side panels. The combination of the substantial geometric form, deep black finish and bright chrome gives the desk its characteristic Italian 1970s executive aesthetic. With its impressive proportions and clean architectural lines, this is a highly distinctive statement desk, suitable for an executive office, creative studio or contemporary interior. The desk is offered on its own. The chair, laptop and other accessories shown in the photographs are not included. Matching components from the BIG office system -including drawer units, an extension element and a storage cabinet- are available separately. The desk is in good vintage condition, with some visible signs of age and use, particularly minor scratches and wear to the chrome edging, as shown in the photographs. Details.
