Vintage print, flower cards in wooden gold-colored frames, after an antique botanical drawing by pierre-joseph redouté (1759-1840). Pierre-joseph redouté was a belgian painter and botanist, best known for his exquisite attention to detail, he became most famous for his paintings of flowers in the garden of the castle of malmaison and was official court artist of marie antoinette of austria. Beautifully framed cards in a dark passe-partout, rectangular wooden gold-colored frames with glass.
