Description
The bitossi art ceramics factory was founded in 1921 by guido bitossi in montelupo fiorentino, the hometown of aldo londi (1911-2003), tuscany. He joined bitossi at a very young age, and was its artistic director from 1946 to 1976 and then the chairman of the board of directors. His talent as a creator allowed him to propel his production into modernity and his famous "rimini blu" gave him worldwide notoriety. This lidded jar is in perfect condition, with a very slight imperfection on the neckline, but you have to examine it closely to see it (pictured), the price takes this into account. Dimensions: h9.5 and h14 with lid, pot d12, lid d13.
