This beautiful salt shaker has all the makings of a collector's salt shaker, perfect for displaying in a window or adding a touch of originality to your table. It has a stamp that says “made in ussr”, so it can be dated before the 90s (collapse of the ussr). After some research I found that this salt shaker comes from the Lomonosov porcelain factory in Leningrad and dates from the 70s to 80s. It seems to me that it represents a peacock doing a cartwheel (a turkey perhaps because the name of the model is sometimes translated as "turkey"), it has very pretty colors: white, blue, orange enhanced with a golden border, painted by hand. The ceramic is in perfect condition, no cracks or chips, the colors are very bright, the gilding is not faded, its only fault is that you will have to find a cap because it is missing. It measures approximately 10cm in height, 7cm in width, 7cm in depth.
