Emerald Green Stoneware Dish by Andersson & Johansson, Höganäs, Sweden

This beautifully handcrafted Scandinavian modern emerald green stoneware decorative dish was designed and made by Andersson & Johansson, Höganäs, Sweden. The dish is marked underneath with deep stamps reading 'Höganäs, ' along with the logo for Andersson & Johansson, used from 1920 to 1958. It features incised decorative lines along the edge of the rectangular dish. Founded in 1909, Andersson & Johansson began producing utility and household items with a colorful palette. They crafted iconic pieces like the yellow 'Höganäskrukorna' and many decorative objects. After acquiring Nyman & Nyman in 1956, the company was renamed Andersson & Johansson - Höganäs Keramik. Following several name changes and mergers, Höganäs Keramik is now owned by the Iittala Group in Finland. Dimensions: Height 4 cm, Width 37.5 cm, Depth 30 cm. Condition: Good, with wear consistent with age and use. The glaze on the upper outer edges shows minor wear, small burst bubbles, and slight glaze crackling, which add to the patina.
