Pair of Limited Edition Tan Leather 'Ella' Swivel Chairs Designed by Niels Bendtsen for Montis. 2010. These examples have the 4-star swivel legs and are extremely comfortable for such a compact chair. They give the feeling that you are sitting in an armchair due to its buckled dish shape and the geometrically faceted sides thus giving the armchair a very distinctive look and the Ella chair would give a living room, bedroom or reception area an air of quality and sublime style. This compact seat easily allows all manners of sitting postures while being properly supported at all times. These chairs new would cost over £1,800.00 each. One of Niels Bendtsen designs, the Ribbon Chair, is included in the permanent collection at the Museum of Modern Art in New York. In 2006, Bendtsen was honoured with the 2006 British Columbia Creative Achievement Award of Distinction. The leather is near perfect though there are scuffs/marks to the 4-star legs that is consistent with age. H:70 W:83 D:69 CM.
