Rare tripod floor lamp with three adjustable lights, attributed to the Royal-Lumière / Lunel editions, France, circa 1955. An elegant creation of French design from the 1950s, this floor lamp stands out for its graphic silhouette and three adjustable diffusers that allow for directing the light as needed. It rests on a substantial cylindrical base made of cast iron with a black hammered finish and is topped with a black lacquered metal rod. Each diffuser has its own push-button switch and can be oriented thanks to a ball joint system. The black parts are made of metal and cast iron. The decorative elements with a gold finish add a refined touch to the whole. To verify their nature, I unscrewed the arrow-shaped finial at the top of the lamp; it is made of bronze. To my knowledge, this is the same model presented by several specialised galleries under the attribution Royal-Lumière / Lunel. Condition: good overall presentation; original patina preserved; one lampshade has a slight damage (visible in the photographs); one of the three lamps needs servicing; sold as is. Dimensions: Height: approximately 170 cm. Wingspan at the base of the diffusers: difficult to measure, approximately 40 cm. Diameter of the base: 20 cm. Collection in person preferred due to the dimensions and fragility of the item. However, shipping may be considered depending on the destination and arrangements to be agreed upon.
