Peacock chair design by Verner Panton. It is a surprising chair that goes reminiscent of the shape of a flower, it allows to sit in a very relaxed way in the relaxed spirit dear to the 60s. 2-part structure of covered metal and 7 cushions retaped in kvadrat. A cylindrical base carries a truncated sphere that, like a basket, receives seven cylindrical cushions. This basket can be arranged in different ways on the base or then placed directly on the ground as a rocking chair. Some traces of use on steel, completely new fabric. A bowl shaped top and cylindrical foot made from electrogalvanized stainless steel wire. The chair has seven removable seat cushions restored and upholstered in kvadrat fabric over foam rubber. Period 1960-1969.
