Vintage "Pullman" chair in metal tubing and green faux leather, dating from the 1950s-1960s. With its simple and graphic silhouette, this chair evokes mid-20th century collective and office furniture. It combines a patinated metal tubular structure with a padded seat and a deep green faux leather backrest, highlighted by a fine dark piping. The curved tubular sled base gives it a light, stable line that is very characteristic of post-war functional design. Its bottle green/olive green colour adds a very decorative retro touch. It will easily find its place as a desk chair, accent chair, bedroom seating, reading nook, entrance piece, or decorative element in a vintage, industrial, workshop, or chic flea market interior. The chair shows a beautiful patina of use: oxidation and pitting on the metal base, signs of time on the tubes, small marks and slight dirt on the faux leather. The upholstery appears to be generally well-preserved, with an authentic charm "in its juice." Era: 1950s-1960s. Style: vintage, industrial, mid-century, collective furniture. Materials: metal tubing, faux leather. Colour: bottle green/olive green. Base: metal tubular sled. Condition: patina of use, oxidation and visible marks in photos. Antique chair sold as is, ideal for adding an authentic vintage touch to an interior. Seat height: 48cm.
