Large pair of Louis XVI style wall sconces from the 19th century - gilded bronze.

Beautiful pair of large wall sconces in Louis XVI style, from the second half of the 19th century. Made of bronze. Gilding in good condition; some black stains in places. The wall part is decorated with foliage and acanthus leaves. The arms of the lights are adorned with pierced acanthus leaves, flowers, and oak leaves. The chiselling of the sconces has been done by hand; great finesse. Please note, see the last photos: a missing petal on one flower; a slight deformation at the bottom of one sconce; some ornaments are probably missing but this does not affect the overall harmony (see photos with red circles). They are electrified and tested, with new wires (for E14 bulbs). Cardboard candles, in very good condition. Careful packaging assured via recommended Colissimo delivery to your home.
