In the style of the famous 16th century Maximilian hunts, the tapestry cartoon served as a full-scale model for creating a tapestry. Signed Han Coll and dated 1904. Josep Coll, known as Han Coll (Montferrer 1870- Perpignan 1934), Catalan artist, painter and sculptor, he practiced all forms of art and excelled in sculpture. In hunting, this episode is called the "bat-l'eau". But already two hunters, one of whom was clinging to the deer's antlers, had caught it with several dogs.
