Pendant lamp, model dania nr-2040 - kurt wiborg - jeka denmark - 1970 beautiful danish pendant lamp, iconic scandinavian design, designed by kurt wiborg and produced by jeka metaltryk in the 1970s. The lamp is in fantastic original condition, perfectly intact. No scratches or dents, almost new appearance. Diffuses a soft and discreet light. Impeccable high quality workmanship from one of the leading scandinavian companies. The lighting system is designed to create a glare-free light that projects a directional light downwards and diffuses to the sides. Jeka is part of the tradition of danish modern design with names such as jo hammerborg, fog og mørup, bent karlby, lyfa, svend middelboe, nordisk solar and many others who all work with the multi shade system. A system first developed in the early 20th century by the famous architect poul henningsen for louis poulsen. The multi-lampshade system distributes light perfectly in the room without the bulb being visible. The system is still used by designers around the world. • description: pendant, ceiling lamp • designer: kurt wiborg • publisher: jeka metaltryk •. Model: dania nr2040 •.
