Art Vannes crystal fruit bowl

Long fruit bowl or centerpiece in translucent hand-blown crystal by art vannes, 1960s-1970s. Artisanal work, made in vannes le chatel, meurthe-et-moselle (france). Stamp engraved under the cut. Small scratches on the underside, related to its age (see photo). Otherwise, perfect condition. Length: 66 cm – depth: 14 cm – middle height: 8.5 cm – height at the ends: 16 cm. La verrerie - cristallerie de vannes le châtel was founded in the middle of the 18th century, but in the second half of the 20th century, the company merged with the glassworks of vallérysthal and portieux, and in 1970 with bayel and fains (this group of crystalworks was produced under the name compagnie française du cristal, cfc, until 1981), then the vannes glassworks integrated the daum crystalworks under the name cfc daum. The production of vannes-le-châtel is today marketed under the management and brand of the daum crystal factory, with which it was merged in the 1970s.
