Box for 12 19th century horn handle knives

12 horn-handled table knives signed benoit in rodez (jean benoit, cutler, born in 1796, died in 1874 in rodez.). These knives are presented in their original black box with blue fabric interior. The knives are in very good condition considering their age with some signs of wear on the blades. The horn handles are in very good condition. One ferrule has a white deposit (to be removed with more patience than me?). The box has numerous rubbing marks on the outside. Length of each knife: 20 cm.
