Rare desk and chair ''IIIForm'' by Fabio Lenci, Formes Nouvelles 70s

Rare office set and its matching chair by Italian designer Fabio Lenci for the publisher Formes Nouvelles (circa 1970). An absolute icon of the Space Age era. This set is exceptional as it is complete and entirely original: the desk features its integrated storage (pencil holder) and its perfectly functional period backlighting system, which diffuses a soft and iconic light. The matching plexiglass chair, a very rare piece on the market, beautifully complements the set. Remarkable vintage condition for its over 50 years (some fine legitimate scratches... chrome in good condition. Original lighting system). A museum piece ready to be installed. It is rare to find this set on the market. At the time, only a "formes nouvelles" label was stuck on the plexi. Obviously, it has disappeared today... An emblematic piece worthy of a design museum!
