Vintage engraved silver metal lion claw sugar tongs

This beautiful sugar tongs is made of silver plated metal. A lovely cutlery for serving sugar cubes or ice cubes. It is decorated with an engraved decoration of leaf stems with a blank cartouche and ends with lion claws. It bears a "white metal" hallmark. I note partial wear of the silver layer. In good condition, this sugar tongs measures 15.5 cm. I note scratches from use and traces of oxidation.
