DEETJEN 30-piece modernist cutlery set with scalloped edges

This superb set of 30 silver-plated table cutlery is from the DEETJEN silversmithing house in Alsace. This cutlery set includes 6 table knives, 6 soup spoons, 6 table forks, 6 fish forks, and 6 fish knives. It features a simply shaped modernist design. This cutlery dates from the 1950s-1960s. DEETJEN is a renowned Alsatian silversmithing house established since the mid-19th century. The quality of the silver plating is excellent: the spoons and forks are marked 100 for the silver weight used to cover the cutlery. These pieces bear the DEETJEN hallmark and the triangle mark. The blades are made of stainless steel. In very good overall condition, they show signs of oxidation and usage scratches. Dimensions: knife 23 cm - spoon 21 cm - fork 21 cm - fish fork 18 cm and 20.5 cm.
