Lounge chair by W.H. Gispen for Kembo, 1960s

This lounge chair was designed by W.H. Gispen for Kembo in the 1960s and reflects the clean, functional aesthetics of postwar Dutch modernism. The frame is made of black lacquered metal, with gently curved armrests and a floating seat structure. The original light blue wool upholstery is in used condition — still intact, but visibly worn.
